1972 July 1 CBC Archives established at Stock Exchange branch, then to HQ at Ultimo, building up profiles on all branches including who the Managers have been, conditions, premises, types of buildings, extensions & alterations, and if branch was relocated. George Carman Chief Annalist, John Parker who established Archives later Research Annalist, Cathy Oakes qualified Archivist"

CBC Archives

As you all would be aware we have been relocating our collection since November 2020 and the process has now been completed. The items have been placed as follows:-

NAB Museum (influenced by John Ness),

State Library NSW (influenced by Rosemary Crowley),

Carcoar Toy Museum (located within old Branch premises & influenced by Ian Saunders),

Moree Historical Society (influenced by John Munro),

Henty & District Historical Society (influenced by Bob Wilmot), and

Delegate Progress Association (located within old Branch premises & influenced by Wayne Linnert)

 

Commencing now if any member has any item they wish to donate to Club please contact Club Archivist, Alan Pitt on 0419 328 080 who will assess the item and determine the future placement.

Webmaster, John Ness has scanned numerous items from our collection and they are available on DVD for $5.00. Please contact John direct for further information.
